Kanjirapuzha Dam
Kanjirapuzha Dam is a dam built across the Kanjirapuzha, a tributary of the Kunthipuzha, a tributary of the Bharathapuzha, in Kanjirapuzha panchayat, near Mannarkkad in Palakkad district of Kerala. There is also a garden adjacent to this dam.
Vakodan Hill is within sight of this dam. The dam has 3 shutters. The dam has been constructed as part of the Kanjirapuzha Irrigation Project. Built on the Kanjirapuzha River, this dam is mainly used for agriculture and drinking water purposes. Surrounded by greenery and mountains, it is also known as a beautiful tourist destination. It is an ideal place for family outings and nature enjoyment.
